We continued to drive down the gulf coast to Florida and hit a massive traffic jam going through the town of Destin. The party appeared to be happening here. A floating town of boats that rivaled Sea Fair. Heading into Mobile AL. Amazed at the size of the buildings.
Apparently this is Crab Island. There was a “Rock the Docks” party/concert scheduled for this night.
We were lucky to get a spot on Friday night, but Geronimo RV resorts had jus had a cancellation and was able to fit us in. Shortly after we got set up, the sky darkened and a massive thunderstorm hit. It didn’t last long, and left a beautiful sunset.
